Okay, I should have submitted this a long time ago when I submitted the one for "Cage" because I wore this just one day later. I admit it: my bad. I've been busy with university and stuff, however.

Story time, kiddos! I originally planned to bring only my "Osaka Jo Hall live" Kaoru and "Cage" Kaoru cosplays to AD07, but, gasp, I finished both with something like two weeks to spare and a few yards of vinyl. Most people would relax...but I am not most people: I'm a glutton for sleepless nights and frantic-working, apparently, because I decided to start in on "Gauze" ("Schwein no Isu," "Tsumi to Batsu/Mitsu no Tsuba," and the Gauze bandscore looks). Needless to say, I did not finish in time, and the only piece I'm wearing that is "finished" is the corset. The coat was mostly done, but I had to tape the bottom hem up the morning I wore it because I didn't have time to hem (it's finished now).

In hindsight, I should not have busted my ass the night before to try to get this thing wearable and should have just worn "Osaka Jo Hall live": not only did I have to wear a really inaccurate, part-done version, but I slept for 2 hour the night before and only 4 the night before that. Yes, that is why I look far less fierce than I'd like to in these pictures. Next time: no sleepiness, more ferocity!!! XD

What's going to be changed/has already been changed:
-The skirt: the version in the pictures was made in about a day and I knew full well it was not accurate. As we speak, I'm putting together a new one. I'm in the basic sewing stages, but this time it'll have all the shiny little bits and add-ons.
-The necklace: Simply put, it's not the right necklace, only looks like his from a distance (his is made of vinyl strips, not beads). I didn't have time to make one, so I just grabbed something out of my jewelry box on the way out the door.
-Feathers/gloves/lace undershirt: I didn't have time to put to gether/buy either of these, so I based my look on the photos in the "Gauze" bandscore as he lacks all those things in that look.
-Feather/black rose hairpiece: ditto to the above. I did get the rose painted though. He doesn't have the hairpiece in the bandscore, but I am wearing extensions in the back(give me a little credit there, guys!)

-the black fabric for the coat (the name escapes me atm)

-d-rings, belt buckles, and shower curtain rings for the skirt
-Stuff I already had: necklace, black tights, rockin' boots

Time:
N/A because I'm still working on it. Still, I'd say at least 40 hours. I'm sure I'll be over 100 when I'm done!
